MINA GALLARDO (Cristina) Mezzo

mina 2Born in Puebla de los Angeles (Mexico). Her musical training began at the age of eight at the Music Conservatory of her city.
Her repertoire includes Opera, Baroque and Spanish Song under the direction of masters such as Kurt Redel (Poland), Horacio Franco (Mexico), Teresa Berganza (Spain), Monserrat Caballé (Spain), Dunja Vejzovic (Croatia), Graciela Araya (Chile), Jackeline Bobak (USA), Alberto Zedda (Italy) and Rogelio Riojas Nolasco (Mexico). She takes Spanish music courses taught by Spanish sopranos Isabel Penagos, Ana María Sánchez, director Miquel Ortega and pianists Josep Surinyac, Francisco Poyato, Julio Alexis Muñoz and Jorge Robaina. Among her teachers are her mother Gloria de la Cruz (Mexico), Héctor Sosa (Mexico), Amelia Sierra (Mexico), Carlos Serrano (USA), André Dos Santos (Brazil), James Demster (USA) and Mireia Pintó (Spain) .

He has collaborated with instrumental groups of chamber and several orchestras of the Country and abroad.
As a soloist and promoter of the Opera and contemporary vocal music, she has given recitals in countries such as Italy, Spain, Japan and Mexico. In his concert activity he has made world premieres of works composed especially for his voice by composers from Mexico, Guatemala, Spain and Israel.
Since 2008 she works in the artistic group "Chamber Choir of Madrigalists" of the National Institute of Fine Arts (INBA) in Mexico.
She is currently doing a master's degree in Lied, Spanish and Catalan Songs, "Victoria de los Ángeles" at the Superior School of Music of Catalonia (ESMUC) in Barcelona, ​​Spain.
